The interesting thing about going on vacation is it gives you time to think about things that you somehow don't the rest of the time. In my case I am pretty much always thinking about my comic - but while I was enjoying all my time off, my brain power has been oriented around the format of the thing.

When I started the comic, the budget only allowed for it to be in black and white. Now that I have a handful of issues already independently published and another on the way, I'm wondering if the comic should have been done in color.

It is feasible that I could re-do the comic in color, but the time needed for this would get in the way of doing the next issue.

One of the major reasons that I am concerned with this is that I planned the completion of issue 7 to be the benchmark in which I compile all of the works thus far (along with a few extras) into a graphic novel which would be ready for distribution by MegaCon 2010.

Another problem with holding back issue production is that the website will likely catch up to what's already published and thus hit a kind of dormant state until the coloring's completed (which would take a significant amount of time).

What would you guys prefer?
